We analyze export shipments of grain based on the Logistic OS platform.

By the end of last weekend, after a two-week growth, quotations for Russian wheat went down.

Wheat with a protein content of 12.5% and delivery in December decreased in price by $ 2 and reached $ 252 per ton FOB Black Sea ports (data from Ikar consulting agency).

According to the Sovekon agency, the price was $ 253, down $ 1.

Export shipments of grains and legumes also dropped significantly in volume: by 30.9% compared to the previous week.

At the same time, versus the same week of last year, the growth amounted to 59.6%.

The transshipment of at the terminals of Novorossiysk fell by almost a third: 379,548 tons of grain were shipped, which is 34.1% less than the previous week, but 3.2 times more than last year.

In general, almost half of the grain cargo passed through the terminals of Novorossiysk: 44.3%

The main deliveries were made to the countries of North and Black Africa, South-West, South and South-East Asia and the Middle East.

According to preliminary information, the TOP-5 exporters were headed by Mirogroup Resources LLC, the Rif Trading House moved to the third place (the data is being updated).

In the near future, the dynamics of wheat prices will depend not only on external, but also on internal factors: the ruble exchange rate and the final decision on the adoption of restrictive measures.

At the same time, the growth driver may be corn, the import of which has been significantly increased by China.

If there is a jump in prices for this crop, then the rest of the grains may follow.
