Food production is growing in Russia, but not all

Compared to June last year, the growth was 2.4% (Rosstat data).

Over the past 7 years, the food industry has been experiencing a period of active development.

The food embargo introduced in 2014 spurred both agricultural development and manufacturing.

By the end of 2020, food production increased by 3.6% in comparable prices.

Analysts note that in the coming years, the trend for the conscious consumption of products, the production of which does not harm the planet, will grow.

This is why plant-based food production is projected to rise.

For example, world experts estimate the market for vegetable meat by 2030 in the range of $ 140 to $ 220 billion. Russia in this segment can occupy from 5 to 10% of the world market.
