So far, processing is carried out at 7 sugar factories in the Krasnodar Territory. It is planned that seven more will be connected during the week:

So far, it is difficult to give any forecasts for the gross yield of sugar beet: the harvest has just begun, the crop has been dug from 6.5 thousand hectares, 254.6 thousand tons have been harvested, the average yield is 391.7 c / ha.
The yield in the strata is still lower than last year, but, for example, 191 thousand hectares of sugar beet were planted in the South against 171 thousand hectares last year, which, in theory, should give an increase in the yield.
But both the South and the Center of Russia were under the influence of hot and dry weather for a long time. And, although sugar beets easily tolerate drought, after a prolonged heat, the first rains go to restore the tops and roots, and not to accumulate the dry weight of the root and sugar.
Therefore, analysts do not expect a clear increase in yield against the background of growing acreage.
Experts do not exclude a decrease in yields due to non-observance of crop rotation, according to which sugar beets in the same place cannot be sown more often than once every four to five years.
According to experts’ forecasts, the yield this year will be average, no records can be expected.
The total sugar production in the country is estimated at 6.3-6.5 million tons.
And if we take into account the low carry-overs and a stable exchange price for several months, a sharp rise or fall in value is not expected.
