The year 2021 was completed with a good harvest of grains and legumes at the level of 1.8 million tons.
Compared to 2020, this is an increase of 25%. The gross yield was increased by 367 thousand tons. At the same time, the sown area increased by 4% and amounted to 340 thousand hectares.
The situation with winter crops in the current season caused a lot of fears due to the weather: in winter, a significant part of them died due to frosts, in summer a drought settled in a large part of the country.
However, in the end, the winter wheat crop at Agrocomplex turned out to be quite decent: + 28% to last year (1.655 million tons).
The yield per hectare this year has also increased and amounted to +10 c / ha compared to last year.
A lot was harvested and winter barley: 152 thousand tons (+19 thousand tons compared to last year). Its yield increased: from 60 centners per hectare to 62 centners / ha.
It is noted that up to 900 combine harvesters took part in the harvest. Immediately after the harvest, the grain was delivered to 13 elevators.
«Agrocomplex» received a harvest at the level of average annual values and 25% higher than a year earlier. The largest amount of grain was threshed by the enterprises named after I. P. Revko, Bolshevik, Rassvet, Razvilenskoe — more than one hundred thousand tons each, ”said Savva Shevel, director of crop production at Agrocomplex.
Agrocomplex increases export
To date, the Agrocomplex enterprise has already managed to sell 120 thousand tons of grain. It is assumed that the company will keep the pace of sales, which it has managed to reach so far, until the end of the year.
In addition to grain, the company plans to increase exports in other items this year. In particular:
Up to 40 thousand tons of molasses will be sent to the European Union, Turkey and China.
Up to 30 thousand tons of beet pulp — to the EU and Turkey.
Up to 5 thousand tons of chickpea — to Egypt, Turkey, India, Pakistan.
As for sugar, for the most part, Agrocomplex plans to sell it domestically. The reason for this is the high export duties imposed by the Russian government.
In general, Agrocomplex has successfully completed the 2020-2021 season. and plans to continue to expand its capacity.
Including the volumes of agricultural products sent abroad. This enthusiasm is largely due to the consequences of the pandemic: in particular, the depreciation of the ruble, which led to a significant increase in foreign exchange earnings from exports.
At the moment, «Agrocomplex named after NI Tkachev ”includes 29 enterprises. It ranks second in milk production among all companies in Russia, fifth in sugar, and sixth in meat.
