A contract for the sale and purchase of a part of the property of the holding «South Siberia»

This is the third attempt to sell the property of a bankrupt company at auction.

The South Siberia holding was a large vegetable oil producer, but in April 2019 the parent company of the holding was declared bankrupt.

Several factories operated under the management of the holding:

Barnaul oil extraction plant (sunflower processing capacity 500 tons per day)

Biysk oil extraction plant (processing capacity 500 tons per day)

Prodeks-Omsk (processing capacity of sunflower 450 tons per day, rapeseed — 390 tons per day).

In 2018, the company’s facilities were leased to the St. Petersburg Group of Companies «Blago», which, according to analysts, could become a contender for the purchase of assets.

So far, only property in Kamen-na-Obi has been sold: an office building with an area of 568.7 sq. m, garages for 10 cars, a warehouse, driveways, sewers, as well as a land plot with an area of 23.5 sq. m.

The cost of the lot sold was RUB 8.2 million.

The buyer was the Pokrovsky Plant of Vegetable Oils (Belgorod Region).

The company specializes in the production of soybean and rapeseed oils. Considering the geographical location of the enterprise, the main direction is export trade.

In 2019, the plant opened two new workshops, for the construction of which 100 million rubles were spent.

It was also planned to modernize production, which would allow increasing the processing of soybeans up to 1.5 thousand tons per month, and rapeseed up to 2 thousand tons.

To reduce logistics costs, it was necessary to purchase transport and expand storage facilities.

Experts suggest that the purchase of property in Altai is connected with the need to increase the supply of rapeseed to China amid falling demand in Europe.

The property in Kamen-na-Obi is only a small part of the assets of the “South of Siberia” offered for sale.

Two oil extraction plants: in Biysk and Barnaul will be put up for auction. Previously, they were estimated at 2.4 billion rubles, but the auctions did not take place twice.
