Dynamics and trends of agro-export of the port of Novorossiysk from March 01 to March 31, 2022

From March 01 to March 31, 2022, 1 283 874 tonsof grain and leguminous cargoes were exported through the terminals of the port of Novorossiysk.

 

 

Compared to the same period in 2021, the increase was 27.2%.

 

 

Of the total volume of wheat, 1 163 695 tons were exported.

 

 

Compared to the same period in 2021, the increase was 154.4%.

 

 

 

 

Against the background of fears of a reduction in the volume of deliveries from Russia and Ukraine, the cost of futures for wheat by March 07, 2022 increased by 46.3%, reaching highs since 2008.

But as the data from the world’s leading analytical agencies began to confirm that grain from Russia continues to flow to buyers around the world, the cost of futures contracts began to decline, losing 23% from the highs by the end of March.

 

 

 

35.9% of grain cargo (461 155 tons) shipped through the port of Novorossiysk was sent to Egypt.

 

 

Importing countries:

 

 

30.1% of the total volume of wheat (386 405 tons) was shipped by TD Rif LLC.
