DJI has unveiled a new development — the drone Mavic 3 Multispectral. It is planned that its technologies will help to significantly increase the efficiency of agriculture.
The use of drones is no longer a novelty for Russian farmers — before this model appeared, its predecessors were actively used.
However, the Mavic 3 Multispectral has an increased set of features and functions, so you can count on the additional effect of its implementation in your work.
What can a drone do?
His main ability is to make maps of high resolution and detail.
Thanks to this, the owner of such a device will be able, for example, to assess the condition of fields, forests and gardens.
This can be true in any area: from wheat fields to vineyards in the mountains or parks in large cities.
Thanks to the drone, it will be possible to answer a lot of questions:
What stage of development are plants currently in?
Do they require additional watering or fertilization?
How heavily planted with weeds
Are too many seedlings dead, is it necessary to annoy new ones?
Interestingly, the drone can shoot in multiple color modes.
This opens up additional possibilities. For example, shooting in red allows you to see which plants have enough chlorophyll, and which ones are sick and turning yellow.
AI + Cloud
Not only does the new drone model have 5 cameras at once, it is able to transmit a signal for 15 km and work without recharging for more than 40 minutes.
This makes it possible to quickly draw maps with it, allows you to direct the drone to difficult areas where it would be difficult to reach with conventional vehicles.
The use of artificial intelligence technology allows the system to independently process the existing data array in order to draw users’ attention to existing problems.
And cloud technology opens up opportunities to quickly share information and access it from anywhere at any time.
At the same time, the drone uploads information to the cloud in real time, which allows all interested parties to simultaneously monitor what it sees.
It is planned that the use of a drone plus an AI cloud platform will optimize the process of growing any plants, since the state of crops in any area will always be known, thanks to which it will be possible to take timely measures to prevent the death of crops or increase their yield.
