Компания Claas провела испытания комбайна Tukano 580 с новой жатки Convio Flex 770.
The new header allows the equipment to harvest low-growing cereals, as well as to harvest in difficult conditions (lodged plants) with minimal costs and high productivity.
The header completely follows the relief across its entire width, which is extremely important when harvesting soybeans, rapeseed, peas and grass mixtures.
The tests were carried out in regions that differed from each other in soil and climatic conditions.
In Bashkiria and the Tula region, winter and spring wheat, vetch-oat mixture and peas were harvested.
In the process of work, 4 modes of the header were used, focusing on conditions: stationary position, flexible mode, Flex mode and automatic mode when harvesting at a minimum cut.
Comparable results were obtained: productivity 3.4 — 4.5 hectares per hour, with a fuel consumption of about 12 liters per hectare.
In Bashkiria, during the tests, the moisture content of the crop was -22%, while the yield was 32 — 34.8 centners per hectare.
In the Tula region, the humidity was 15.3%, which allowed the equipment to show a significantly higher productivity — 42 centners per hectare.
Harvesting wheat and vetch-oat mixture at the same moisture content of 17% showed very high results: in Bashkiria 42 centners per hectare, and in Tula 50.5 centners per hectare.
Claas was founded in 1913 and is one of the leading manufacturers of agricultural machinery in the world.
The range of the company is quite extensive: combine harvesters, self-propelled forage harvesters, agricultural presses and forage harvesting equipment.
The company came to Russia in 1992, and in 2003 began the production of grain harvesters in our country.
The location of the plant was Krasnodar, which was selected due to the existing logistics infrastructure.
Initially, the company intended to supply equipment throughout Russia and abroad, and it was in this region that it was possible to send it by various modes of transport: mainly by road and rail, as well as by ferry.
The use of all types of transport is available for Krasnodar and is convenient for consumers, and already in June 2020, the Krasnodar plant shipped a record number per month: 350 units.
About 15 pieces of equipment roll off the assembly line every day.
Today the plant is one of the four largest among the 13 manufacturing plants of the concern worldwide.
Claas’ leading innovation development is the unique Claas Telematics intelligent software system.
The most important thing that the system is aimed at is cost savings.
Telematics is a system for transferring data from machines to a server using mobile communications.
The system allows you to continuously request and document work data, trajectories, yield data.
The data can be analyzed online or through the Telematics portal and then exported to virtually any farm management software.
For automatic documentation, users only need to export the site data to the server once or draw boundaries based on an aerial photograph.
The main goal of the program is to control the entire fleet of equipment.
And here it doesn’t matter what we’re talking about: fuel consumption, location, operating condition, remote maintenance, etc. — the program keeps everything under control.
Thanks to the data obtained, agricultural producers can analyze the state of their fleet of equipment and optimize their costs.
And the system will tell you where the machine was not working as efficiently and how to increase its productivity.
The program has a mobile application.
Now the Telematics system is included in the standard equipment of most models of combines and tractors from Claas, which makes it possible to additionally use the after-sales service system: the service department can remotely diagnose equipment and order the necessary spare parts, which also allows farmers to save time and money.
