Russia is increasing export of agricultural products

As of July 11, products worth $ 15.6 billion were exported, and the growth rate over the same period last year is 18%.

In terms of growth rates, fat and oil products are in the lead: + 39% ($ 3.62 billion) .

The largest volume of shipments falls on grain: $ 4.373 billion (+ 20%) . Moreover, a week earlier the increase was 18%.

For other branches of the agro-industrial complex, the results are as follows:

Meat and dairy products — $ 703 million (+ 25%)

Fish and seafood — $ 2.6 billion (+ 4%)

Other products — $ 2.176 billion (+ 12%).

Exports of processing industry grew by 5% ($ 2.103 billion).

Country statistics:

The European Union ousted China from the first place, having purchased agricultural products from Russia for $ 1.921 billion (+ 33%).

China — $ 1.912 billion (-4%)

Turkey — $ 1.808 billion (+ 12%)

South Korea — $ 1.172 billion (+ 51%)

Kazakhstan — $ 961 million (+ 18%). By the way, having displaced Egypt from the fifth place.

As before, the largest buyers of Russian grain are Turkey and Egypt.

Turkey is in the first place in terms of purchases of fat and oil products — $ 718 million.

Russian exports of agricultural products in 2020 amounted to $ 30.5 billion (2019 — $ 25.6 billion).

Exports in 2021, according to preliminary estimates, will be about $ 30 billion, and in 2030 it is planned to increase volumes to $ 47 billion.

By 2030, the export of agricultural products to Singapore , the market of which is characterized by a stable level of consumer spending and high incomes of the population, may reach $ 100 million. The country is 90% supplied with food products through imports.

At the moment, Russia is in 56th place in the structure of food imports of Singapore, supplying mainly chocolate confectionery and sunflower oil.

Fish and crustaceans, pork, poultry meat can be added to the list of exported goods.

In 2020, Russian exports to Singapore decreased by 18.1% ($ 4.3 million), while imports from Singapore increased by 61% ($ 46.2 million).
