New deep-water berth put into operation in the port of Novorossiysk

On July 19, 2021, the first ship was loaded with grain: a bulk carrier Belfuji under the flag of the Marshall Islands.

Delo Group began reconstruction of the NUTEK and KSK terminals in 2015. In total, $ 335 million was invested in the implementation of the project without attracting government investments.

The large-scale work carried out allowed to increase the capacity of the KSK grain terminal to 7 million tons per year.

The length of the berth is 309 meters, the total area of the terminal is 7.7 thousand sq. meters. Deepening the bottom near the berth to 16.9 meters will allow to receive vessels with deadweight up to 100 thousand tons and maximum draft up to 14.4 meters.

Today it is the deepest and second largest berth in the Azov-Black Sea basin.

Delo Group of Companies is the largest transport and logistics complex in Russia.

It manages sea container terminals in the Azov-Black Sea, Baltic and Far Eastern basins, a network of railway container terminals, fleets of containers and fitting platforms.

Last season, almost a third of all shipments of the port (more than 5 million tons) passed through the KSK grain terminal

Data on current shipments in the ports of Russia, Ukraine, Romania and Bulgaria, historical data on grain shipments since 2012 can be generated on the basis of the analytical platform Logistic OS.

The system consists of several modules: Line-up, Export Date, Ratings, Ports, Cargoes, Vessels, as well as a large number of reference books.

Users are given the opportunity to use various analytical tools and download data in the format Excel.

Using the «Ports» module, you can get information on the volume of shipments for the selected period, both by basins and by individual ports. Also, at the same time, a comparative analysis is formed by terminals, cargoes, exporters and importing countries, either as a whole for the selected basin, or for the selected port.

According to the results of the 2020/2021 agricultural year, the KSK terminal took the second place in terms of transshipment volumes in Russia.

When there is a need to obtain comparative data in the form of ratings, then in the «Ratings» module it is necessary to select the country, type of cargo and the required time parameters (in this case, from July 01, 2020 to June 30, 2021).

Oksana Lut, Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the Russian Federation, highly appreciated the work carried out:

“The long-term strategy for the development of the grain complex assumes a significant increase in harvest volumes in the next 10 years. The industry plans to increase grain production every year. Projects like this one are very important in terms of further increasing exports and improving transport accessibility. ”
