STLK will supply 500 hopper cars to TBI-F

State Transport Leasing Company JSC, TBI-F LLC and Barnaul Carriage Repair Plant JSC (BVRZ) signed a trilateral purchase and sale agreement.

It is planned to supply 500 new hopper cars for transportation of grain cargoes, model 19-9567, manufactured by BVRZ, which has an increased body volume — 118 m3.

In accordance with the contract, STLC will lease the hopper cars to OOO TBI-F for a period of 15 years. The delivery of the wagons will take place from August to December 2021.

GTLK is the largest customer of freight rail cars in Russia. The company’s activities contribute to supporting railway engineering, upgrading rolling stock, increasing passenger comfort, and developing transportation infrastructure.

As of July 1, 2021, the fleet of STLC’s railway rolling stock, leased and operating lease, is 97.9 thousand cars, the fleet, taking into account the contracted cars, is 102.2 thousand units. The fleet of hopper cars for the transportation of grain cargo of STLC is 10.2 thousand units. (19.7% of the total on the railway network of Russian Railways). The total volume of STLC investments in the industry exceeds 424 billion rubles.

TBI-F LLC — part of the TBI Group of Companies, which has been operating in the logistics services market since 2008. The TBI group of companies is engaged in railway and container transportation, port forwarding, etc. The main office of «TBI» is located in Novorossiysk.

JSC Barnaul Carriage Repair Plant is one of the largest industrial enterprises in the Altai Territory and the oldest in the Russian heavy engineering industry. Since 2011, it has been part of the TALTEK Group of Companies. The plant specializes in the manufacture and repair of railway freight rolling stock and spare parts.
