About 2.6 million tons are capable of receiving elevators, 7 million tons — storage capacities of farmers and 0.4 million tons — shipping sites.
Storage conditions for grain in elevators allow avoiding the appearance of mold, fungus and other microorganisms: for this, a certain level of moisture is maintained and ventilation is carried out.
First, wheat and barley are dried on mechtocks, cleaned and sorted, then — dried and cleaned at grain storage and grain storage facilities.
The smallest elevator is Aleksandrovsky . It can store 50 thousand tons of grain.

Seeds — 525 thousand tons
Bakery needs — 200 thousand tons.
According to preliminary estimates, in 2021 all the remaining grain — about 6 million tons of the region will be exported.
