The highest harvest in the history of the country was harvested: 44.8 million tons.
Ukrainian agrarians harvested grain on an area of 10.2 million hectares.

Wheat milled — 32.8 million tons
Barley — 10.94 million tonnes
Rapeseed — 2.8 million tons
Peas — 0.57 million tons.
The highest crop yield (by region):
Wheat (Khmelnytsky region) — 65.2 kg / ha
Barley (Kiev region) — 57.2 c / ha
Rapeseed (Khmelnytsky region) — 35 kg / ha.
The best result in terms of threshing was shown by the Odessa region — 4.1 million tons.
Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporozhye, Nikolaev, Kharkov and Kherson regions threshed 3 million tons each.
The Minister of Agrarian Policy Roman Leshchenko noted that measures of state support for farmers played an important role in achieving record indicators.
For January — July 2021, the following was allocated from the budget:
Partial compensation for the cost of domestic agricultural machinery and equipment — UAH 564 million
Under the program of state loan reduction — UAH 565 million
Under the program «Available loans 5-7-9%» — more than 26 billion hryvnia
Against the background of lower forecasts for the harvest in the world, Ukraine has every opportunity to realize its export potential and strengthen its position in the grain market.
Experts predict that the agro-industrial sector can accumulate more than half of Ukraine’s foreign exchange earnings, thereby providing a fifth of the country’s GDP.
In 2021/22 MY, experts predict the harvest of grain and leguminous crops in the country at the level of 75.8 million tons.
At the same time, exports may amount to 56 million tons.
Good prospects for export trade in the agro-industrial complex, according to experts, will not lead to a decrease in domestic prices and will not stop the rise in prices, for example, for bread, which is becoming more expensive every month.
Producers will not sell wheat on the domestic market for less than export. Any change in prices on the external market entails a change in prices on the internal market.
In addition, external factors, such as world oil prices, will also affect prices.
