According to surveys, more and more companies name the shortage of personnel as one of the main problems of the industry.
Research by InfoLine shows that this problem is gradually coming to the fore.
For example, at the beginning of the year, 40% of companies spoke of rising production costs as the main problem, and the lack of personnel was not mentioned at all among the top 5 difficulties.
Now, 40% of companies emphasize the shortage of personnel.
They also complain about problems with logistics, lack of growth in demand, monopolization of the market by retail chains, gray schemes of competitors, imports of competing products and legislative difficulties.
What is the reason for the staff shortage?
According to the HH.ru portal, in Kuban, for example, there are only 2.7 resumes per vacancy, which indicates a pronounced shortage of personnel.
Among the reasons are the following:
— The departure of many Western companies from Russia, and some of them left with their employees.
— The geopolitical situation, which led to the outflow of a significant number of the able-bodied population from the economy.
— Low attractiveness of the agricultural sector in the eyes of potential employees, especially young people.
The low attractiveness of the agro-industrial complex has its reasons.
Among the first are the lack of developed infrastructure in the settlements, where, most likely, workers will have to live.
It is also a low salary, the need to engage in hard physical labor, the lack of new equipment and innovation.
All this leads to the fact that only about 40% of respondents recognize the agro-industrial complex as a promising sector for employment, and 20% believe that it has zero attractiveness.
What specialists do agribusiness companies need today?
We are talking about a very wide range of personnel. These are also “actually agrarian” specialties: agronomist, livestock specialist, veterinarian.
There are also specialists that are needed in every company: sales managers, accountants, marketers, engineers.
In addition, people with working specialties are in demand: drivers, tractor operators.
Whether the sector will be able to find a sufficient number of personnel, taking into account all that has been said, is a question.
Currently, the following trend is observed: not only do many not come to the agricultural sector, but, on the contrary, they leave it for construction and the defense industry, because there are more attractive working conditions.
At the same time, experts emphasize, the agro-industrial complex is one of the drivers of the development of the Russian economy, so it is there simply for professional and career growth.
